Bellevue, WA — A multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 90, involving a semi-truck, a logging truck and 13 other vehicles has left seven people with injuries. The massive chain-reaction crash occurred around 7:45 a.m., which shut down three lanes between 148th Avenue SE and the exit to I-405, reported King5.com.
The Washington State Patrol reported that a semi-truck approached regular morning traffic and wasn’t able to stop in time. A logging truck began fishtailing, which began the chain-reaction crash with 13 other vehicles.
Responding emergency crews rushed at least seven people to area hospitals, which included a 9-year-old girl who is listed in critical condition.
The nature of the victim’s injuries or their identities have been withheld.
