5th San Francisco Fire Department firefighter released from hospital

San Francisco, CA (JusticeNewsFlash.com)–Last week 6 San Francisco firefighters were seriously and critically injured in a two-story vacant home blaze. On Monday firefighter number five, Lt. James App, was released from St. Francis Memorial Hospital after being treated for first, second and third degree burn injuries.

The six firefighters were injured when the roof collapsed on a burning home home located at 627 Felton Street. Four of the six seriously injured firefighters were already treated and released. The sixth firefighter, 18 year paramedic-firefighter Christopher Posey, remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit at San Francisco General Hospital with extensive burns and respiratory injuries. Fire officials remain investigating the cause of the blaze.
