Illinois aviation accident attorney alerts- NTSB officials are looking into cause of Belleville, Illinois plane crash.

Belleville, IL—A single-engine plane crashed into a residence at the Aero Estate Subdivision in Belleville, Illinois, resulting in the death of two people. The tragic aviation accident occurred on Sunday, February 21, 2010, at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to information provided by Fox2Now.com.

Officials from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are reportedly conducting investigations into the weekend incident in which a small plane crashed for unknown reasons. Reports state, “The victims have been tentatively identified as Robert Clarkson, president of Industrial Stream Products Inc. in East St. Louis, and Donald Estell, finance director of Commerce Bank of St. Louis.” Formal identification of the bodies may allegedly take some time due to the physical severity of the bodies found at the aviation wreck. It was not stated whether there were any other people occupying the aircraft at the time.

The plane, allegedly identified as the Piper Miridian, a PA-46 single-engine aircraft, was reported en route for Vero Beach, Florida to Cahokia, Illinois when it was crashed into a combination home and hangar in the community. Reports stated the owners of the home were thankfully out to dinner when the incident occurred. The private hangar reportedly had two airplanes as well as a classic car parked inside, all of which were severely damaged in the wreck. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was seemingly notified that the plane was to land at Park Airport in Cahokia, though it unfortunately never made it there. The Aero Estates Subdivision allegedly has a private airplane landing strip, though it unknown whether the aircraft had made an attempt to land there. Investigations are reportedly underway.
