Phoenix, AZ—A two-vehicle collision in Glendale left a woman and three children injured on Thursday, January 14, 2010. A fire truck and a car collided at the intersection of 67th and Glendale avenues around 5:30 p.m., as the fire truck was on his way to an emergency call, as reported by ABC15.

A fire truck was reportedly responding to an emergency call with its lights and sirens on, when it stopped at the intersection before crossing. As the fire truck attempted to cross the intersection, it collided with a car. The firefighters inside the truck immediately jumped out and began rescue efforts on the victims inside the car. A 25-year-old woman and two children were injured in the crash, and were taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries by medical professionals. Their injuries were reportedly described as minor. None of the firefighters inside the truck sustained any injuries. The car reportedly suffered heavy front-end damage. The fire truck had the right of way, but the crash is currently under investigation by police accident investigators. No citations have been issued at this time.
