Indiana personal injury attorney alerts- A teenager was seriously injured while in Indianapolis for the FFA convention.

Indianapolis, IN– A 16-year-old boy is in serious condition after he fell three stories inside the Circle Centre Mall, while attending a convention in Indianapolis. The tragic fall happened on Thursday, October 22, 2009 around 3:00 p.m., on the third story of the west end of the mall, as reported by WRTV.

Phillip Caler, 16, of Booker, Texas, was reportedly in Indianapolis for the FFA convention, when he sat on the handrail of the third story in the Circle Centre Mall. Caler was apparently sitting near the Carson Pirie Scott store when he slipped from the railing, fell, hit the second-floor railing, and landed face-first on the ground level of the mall. Witnesses rushed to to help Caler, where they began administering oxygen to the injured teenager, and dialed 911. Caler was rushed by area emergency medical services (EMS) teams to Methodist Hospital, where he is currently in critical condition. Responding medical professionals stated the next 72 hours are going to be the most critical. Police officials believe there was no foul play involved in the accident. It is currently unknown why the teenager was sitting on the railing in the first place. Police officials are reportedly conducting a full investigation into the fall.
