Local company prides itself in providing quality window coverings for ambitious affordable housing projects in Denver
Denver’s Department of Housing Stability (HOST) recently celebrated the grand opening of The Reserves at Green Valley Ranch, a mixed-income community that provides affordable housing for low- and middle-income households. The Reserves is a community with 216 units, 144 of which are defined as income-restricted housing.
Biggie Blinds Denver was grateful for the opportunity to support the efforts that have created an affordable community by ensuring that tenants are greeted when they move in with durable, functional and modern window coverings.
“This was an ambitious effort that will have a long-lasting positive impact on the region and everyone at Biggie Blinds was thrilled to be a part of it,” said Matthew Diddy, owner of Biggie Blinds. “It is encouraging to think of the number of people who can have a safe, private and affordable apartment to call home and the fact that we have provided the window coverings for these apartments is wonderful.”
Biggie Blinds recently installed window coverings in one, two and three bedroom units in the last of the nine buildings that make up The Reserves at Green Valley Ranch.
“It’s always a rewarding feeling to complete a project,” Diddy said. “But when it’s a big project that’s going to have a meaningful impact on the local community, it feels even better.”
The company, which provides services to Denver and surrounding areas such as Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, has built a reputation as one of Colorado’s premier window covering dealers/installers.
As a family business, they have been active in the region since 1984.
