Atrium Health’s Levine Cancer Institute (Charlotte, NC) is planning a Center for Advanced Radiation Therapy in Charlotte.

The project will provide proton beam therapy and gamma knife radiosurgery and will include a three-story rotating proton gantry weighing 300,000 pounds.

The center is scheduled to open in 2023; E4H Environments for Health Architecture (Washington, DC) will serve as the project designer.
