Rohit Chandra has reportedly been named chief digital officer at the Cleveland Clinic, a newly created role for the system Press release.

Chandra joins the clinic from Sunshine Products, a Palo Alto, California-based tech startup, as vice president of engineering. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of search and advertising at Verizon Media, where he was responsible for bringing together Yahoo and AOL’s products and teams after they were acquired by Verizon, according to the press release, noting that he also helped build search technology and worked at Yahoo! 13 years and advertise products.

According to the press release, Chandra holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
