My mother went to the emergency room yesterday and stayed for one night, more likely two nights. Her blood cow crashed, but she has no other Covid symptoms. If she does not have pneumonia, the hospital does not seem to have a second paper. “Oh, this is her COPD” did not wash, because she was in good condition for more than 20 years (only used the Rx inhaler once a day, no emergency inhaler) and such an incident has never happened.
The mask discipline in the hospital is terrible. Although the first responders in the ambulance all wore N95, the two people at the nurse station of the hospital, one of them was dictated by MD, and their masks were completely removed. The doctor who saw my mother pulled down his surgical mask and talked to her. Many crappy cloth masks and masks that don’t cover the nose. I am the only one wearing N95.
