TELLY host Jeremy Clarkson spent 250 trouts for his farm lake-but they were all eaten by predators.
The 61-year-old sun columnist Jezza installed electric fences and nets to prevent animals from stealing them.
He also built a pontoon to provide shade.
But the sign for his Diddly Squat Farm shop in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire said: “The trout I grow is not sold in the shop.
“This is because they were all eaten by herons, cormorants, the otter family, or me.
“They are delicious. I’m sorry.”
