San Diego (CNS)-The seasonal weather in San Diego County is expected to continue on Saturday as high clouds slowly increase from the east and ocean clouds gradually thin out toward the coast.

The National Weather Service said that the likelihood of showers and thunderstorms in the mountains on Saturday afternoon is small, and the likelihood of showers on Sunday night is greater because monsoon moisture moves westward from Arizona.

It is expected that there will be limited chances of heavy rainfall on Saturday, but it will increase as the weekend proceeds. The forecaster said that moisture and cloud cover are expected to be abundant, so Sunday and Monday may be cooler, and the temperature in the interior may be much lower than normal.

The high temperature in the coastal area on Saturday is expected to be 71-76 degrees, and the lowest temperature at night is 63-68 degrees. The highest point in the western valley is 78-83, the highest point near the foothills is 85-90, and the lowest overnight is 63-68.

The highest point in the mountains is expected to be 84-92, and the lowest point at night is 64-72, and there is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.
