A dentist was suspended for six months for having sex with a patient in Savoy.
Dr. Sahir Patel Initially denied that he had acted improperly-claiming that he was only “interested in her experience in real estate development.”
But he had dinner with her before returning to the hotel room in Central London.
The dentist later apologized to the lady, who did a veneer for him in a clinic on Harley Street.
The Comprehensive Dental Committee said: “It is your responsibility to avoid establishing a personal relationship with her.
“There is an imbalance of power in the relationship between any dentist and the patient, and you should pay attention to your position.”
