CARLSBAD, Calif.-Advocates who support the choice of masks for children who let their children breathe and reopen held an event called “Smile Festival” in Carlsbad on Saturday after the state announced on Friday that schools will need Wear masks, even though CDC guidelines say teachers are fully vaccinated. Students do not need to wear masks in school.

“At this point, it’s clear that they won’t do the right thing for our children unless the judge asks them to do it,” said Sharon McKeeman, the founder of Letting them breathe. “The most important thing is the impact on our children’s mental health. Many doctors say that our children need to return to normal. Their mental health is in crisis and they need to be able to smile again.”
