“The last thing Biden wants is another cold war”

President Joe Biden stated that he does not think Putin is preparing for a new cold war.

“I pointed out to him that we have strong network capabilities, and he knows this. He doesn’t know what it is, but it’s important. If they actually violate these basic norms, we will respond,” Biden said.

“I don’t think he is looking for a cold war with the United States. I don’t think, like I said to him, I said,’Your generation is about 10 years apart from mine. This is not the Cumbaya moment. Like you said in the United States in the 1960s, let us embrace and love each other.

“But we are in a new cold war situation, which is obviously not in the interests of anyone, no matter your country or mine.”
