Vaccine Minister congratulates Boris Johnson at the wedding

After the wedding, Vaccine Minister Nadhim Zahawi congratulated Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds.

He told Sky News: “When you are together, it’s a great feeling. Of course, I think it’s a great thing for both of them because they made vows to each other.”

Zahavi said that the timing of the secret wedding should not signal that the lockdown measures originally scheduled for further relaxation on June 21 will not occur.

Zahawi said that the timing implies that he did not attend a large wedding after June 21. He said: “I will not infer anything from it.”
