San Diego (CNS)-Police say a 63-year-old man was beaten near Fairmount Park on Saturday and his car was hijacked.
According to San Diego Police Department official Sarah Foster, the victim walked to a vehicle parked in the 4100 block of Home Avenue at 5:24 am on Saturday when a man approached him and immediately started punching and kicking.
The official said that the suspect fled the scene of the victim’s 2010 Ford Fusion. The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment, believing that his life is not in danger.
Foster said that an SDPD robbery team is under investigation.
