Teen lover in Pamela Smart case gets paroled

U.S. – The former teenage lover of Pamela Smart, who was convicted for soliciting the murder of her husband has been paroled. As reported by WebProNews, William ‘Billy’ Flynn, who now a 41-year-old man, was 16 at the time of the murder, and has now been released from prison after serving a longterm sentence.

As noted in the report, “William Flynn and three of his teenage friends carried out the plot–arranged by Pamela Smart–to murder Greg Smart. Pam Smart had convinced Billy Flynn they could be together if her husband was dead. Flynn pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 28 years to life in prison, minus time served before trial.”

A movie starring Nicole Kidman was made about the incident.

Smart, who was 22 when her husband was killed, remains in prison.
