Florida – George Zimmerman was found not guilty of second-degree murder in the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on Saturday. As reported by The Atlantic Wire, the six-person jury also found Zimmerman, 29, not guilty of manslaughter in the case.

As noted in the report, the verdict sparked intense reactions from supporters of Martin, as well as those who professed to believe in Zimmerman’s innocence.
