Surroundings of Bousquet properties
MONTREAL, Nov. 18, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bullion Gold Resources Corp. (TSX-V: BGD) (“gold bar” or “The enterprise”) announces that approximately 1,700 meters of drilling has been completed as part of the ongoing 3,000 meter program at the Bousquet Project in Abitibi.
The first seven drill holes, ranging in length from 210m to 270m, all intersected various silicified and arsenopyrite-mineralized lenses within an approximately 100m wide intersection corridor. In the Paquin East zone, where the current program is located, according to the 3D modeling interpreted by GoldSpot Discoveries, we note the presence of about ten gold lenses, as well as the possible presence of training folds. The Company is also noting the presence of visible gold in several historic and current drill holes.
“We are very pleased with what we are currently seeing in the drill core. These will facilitate a better understanding of the existing gold system at the Paquin East Zone and will assist in the setting up of additional drill holes in 2023 to verify the potential of this near-surface deposit,” said Jonathan Hamel, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Regarding the 1000 meter program, which was also completed at the Paquin Est occurrence in late September 2022, the Company is still awaiting the assay results.
potential near the surface
A sheared and folded corridor containing the Paquin, Decoeur, Joannes and CB1 gold occurrences traverses the southern portion of the Bousquet property for nearly 3 km. As this project is in close proximity to mining infrastructures dedicated to processing gold ore, the Company’s management will conduct a further series of short holes in 2023 to assess the surface potential of the Paquin Est deposit and initially attempt a Resource close to define the area that makes economic sense.
Drilling will be concentrated between surface and 100 meters…
