On September 13, 2022, NINGI Research (“NINGI”) issued a report alleging that “BRP manipulated its organic growth rate to exceed analyst estimates” and that “the company misled investors into by presenting inorganic revenues as organic revenues through a self-portrayal. proclaimed a separate agreement with an affiliated company.”

The NINGI report also alleges that “in 2020, BRP’s proprietary ‘MGA of the Future’ technology was misappropriated by an employee and transferred to a competitor, as alleged by BRP in a court case” and that “the company alleges misappropriation allegedly only noticed in May 2021, but to date has not disclosed the theft of the intellectual property to investors, despite a lawsuit arguing that the theft has caused and will cause severe damage to BRP’s revenues and market share.”

As a result of this news, BRP’s share price fell $2.39 per share, or 7.38%, to close at $29.98 per share on September 13, 2022.
