Since the advent of podcasts I have become learned in a number of topics I never would have considered before. Ok, I’m a woman in my late 20s so it’s mostly true crime and weird historical facts. But, if you want to learn more about any aspect of weed, there is a podcast for it. Last year we had a look at some of the greatest podcasts around, but that was in March of 2021 and since then so many podcasts have come to my attention that definitely deserve a mention . Oooh rhyming, this is going well. Ok let’s have a look at a few podcasts that may not be new but they sure are new to me.

Talking Bluntly

This Oklahoma City podcast talks about a slightly odd combination of things but all of them are extremely interesting and definitely do go together so let’s dive in. Greg Thomas and Justin Keithley cover local weed, artists, musicians and MMA along with other sports. Normally I ‘m not much of a sports person but I do love listening to these guys talk. This is a genuinely funny and enjoyable podcast with dynamic hosts and well researched topics. I would definitely recommend this for those who just like general cannabis topics alongside other bits and pieces rather than something super specific.

The Cannabis Investing Podcast

It’s pretty obvious what this podcast is about but let’s dive in anyway. Yes this podcast is focused on cannabis investment, but now more than ever this is a complex and exciting topic. As cannabis becomes more and more legal all over the world investment opportunities are springing up all over the place. The podcast is hosted by Rena Sherbill who interviews a number of fascinating industry bigwigs. There are interviews with executives, experts and analysts to name a few who can give you genuine and solid investment advice in one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Even if you don’t know a huge amount about financial jargon you’ll be fine. This is honestly one of the easiest to understand investment podcasts I’ve ever heard. I haven’t heard many but that’s because normally I don’t understand what’s going on.

The Dude Grows Show

If you want a top rated and fun to listen to growing podcast this may just be the option for you. The Dude Grows Show is an extremely popular podcast that covers not just growing but also fascinating culture and news segments. You can go on the websites and ask growing questions if you are struggling with your first plant or just want to learn how to bump up your crops. You can even submit images of your plants as well as all of your best weed based stories. This is probably one of the most interactive cannabis podcasts around so if that’s your jam definitely give it a listen.

Professionally Cannabis

This is another entrepreneur podcast but unlike most of the similar casts out there this one comes from the UK. As the US is usually the most talked about area for cannabis, law changes and other social issues it can be tricky to find anyone talking about it from a UK standpoint. Oscar Hausman and Jonathan Wiser interview a variety of big cannabis names and impressive minds. They talk about the business aspect but also about the changes in science and policy all over the world. If you really want to learn all you can about every aspect of weed this is a great podcast to add to your roster. This podcast is listened to all over the world and broadcasts straight out of London.

Jazz Cabbage Cafe Radio

If you like your podcast a little less formatted then have a listen to this extremely unpredictable show. The hosts are Rick Thompson and Jamie Lowell, both of whom are staunch cannabis advocates. One of the most enjoyable parts about this podcast is how varied the subject matter is. They interview a wide variety of fascinating guests covering all things cannabis. If you find it hard to focus on one topic for long, much like me, then the constant subject changes should keep you interested.

CBD School

This podcast focuses, as you may expect, on CBD rather than the other aspects of weed. The point of the podcast is to stay on top of the hemp industry, to educate about the best use of CBD products, online discounts and product reviews. If you are interested in using CBD products for medicinal or relaxation purposes but aren’t sure how to proceed you can find out everything you need to know from this podcast and their website. As well as learning about use you can brush up on your knowledge of the CBD industry, the science behind it and the laws that surround it.

Creatives and Cannabis Podcast

As you may be able to tell from the title this New York based podcast talks to creative forces who are fans of weed. Not only will you hear interviews with fascinating people but you’ll learn all sorts of things about weed that you might not otherwise . If you like something a bit more upbeat, personable and easy going then give it a listen. Jamel and Jordan are the hosts, they have amazing chemistry with each other and their fascinating variety of guests.

The Cannabis Enigma

Let’s finish up with The Cannabis Enigma, an incredible medicinal cannabis podcast from Israel. This show covers everything medicinal including interviews with scientists, doctors, patients, and the families of medicinal weed users. If you want something and interesting then hosts Elana Goldberg and Codi Peterson should give you everything you’re looking for. They don’t just talk about the potential behind cannabis based medicinal treatments, they also talk to a variety of patients who give their real life story behind treating with weed. This can be fantastic for anyone who is considering therapeutic cannabis use. We are constantly learning new things about medical cannabis so it pays to keep up if you have an invested interest in the subject.
