Advocate Aurora respiratory therapist Katie reminded viewers that the disease is still very serious.

“COVID isn’t the flu. It’s a big thing, it’s very real. The patients we saw, we thought came from it, but they didn’t make it out in the end,” she said.

“We’re risking our lives here, our families are here, so we’re doing everything we can,” ICU doctor Minhaj said. “We’re just asking you to have a certain level of trust in us.”

The video ends with a plea from several workers: “Get vaccinated, get boosters.”
