I noticed it looks like Venture capital is everywhere, and now we have data to confirm this.According to CBI 2021 State of Venture Capital Report, global venture capital investment will grow 111% in 2021 to $620.8B. As the chart above shows, the US accounts for more than half of that, growing 107% to $311.2B in investment by 2021.
We researched fintech companies faster/better/cheaper, as it turns out, the sector has the highest share of global VC funding at $132B, or 21% of total VC funding. (This is an all-time high).
Not surprisingly, Silicon Valley leads the U.S. in VC funding in 2021 with over $100B invested (a record $29.3B in 4Q21); New York comes in second with $65B, followed by Boston ($31B) , Los Angeles ($24B), Seattle (~$7B), Washington DC (~$5B) and Denver (~$5B). In 2021, the US leads the global exit, followed by Europe and Asia.
