Some jurisdictions, such as Las Vegas, allow the use of social venues to a certain extent. Uruguay allowed cannabis clubs, and Malta will eventually.

However, there are many more social venues operating in legal grey areas, such as in Spain.

Spain (especially Barcelona) is home to hundreds of cannabis clubs spread across the country.

Barcelona specifically passed a law in 2016 allowing them to return to the field. Nonetheless, a recent federal court ruling has put the club back in the lurch.

That said, the Barcelona club is still very popular. With the reform of adult-use cannabis in Europe, social use may sooner or later be codified into Spanish federal law.
