AMC Cinemas expected to accept Dogecoin and Shiba Inu payments in the first quarter, CEO confirms – Featured Bitcoin News

The CEO of AMC Entertainment, the world’s largest film screening company, stated that his company is expected to accept meme cryptocurrencies Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) in the first quarter of this year.

Adam Aaron, CEO of AMC Theatres, provided an update on his company’s acceptance of the memetic cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE: AMC), also known as AMC Theatres, is the largest film projection company in the United States, Europe and the world. The company owns or operates approximately 950 theaters and 10,500 screens worldwide.

Aron said on Twitter on Thursday that when AMC wants to accept Dogecoin and shiba inu cryptocurrency “any and all payments made through the AMC website and mobile app,” he has been asked many times. He clarified that he was told that AMC was still “going well” in the implementation of the first quarter promised, and pointed out that the exact month is likely to be March.
