BitMEX, Popular crypto derivatives and DeFi platforms, Today welcome Rupertus Rothenhaeuser to join the BitMEX team as their new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). As CCO, Rupertus will take the lead in implementing BitMEX’s “Beyond Derivatives” program, expanding to spot, brokerage, custody, and information products, and establishing the BitMEX Academy. Rupertus will work in Asia.

Specifically, Rupertus will be responsible for developing customer relationships, overseeing the commercial success of BitMEX’s expanding product range, and expanding its market share in the crypto sector. Rupertus started his new role on January 1. And report directly to BitMEX CEO Alexander Höptner.

Rupertus previously served as CEO Crypto Finance (Broker) Joint-Stock Company For more than a year, he provided innovative digital asset services to the group’s bank customers. He has worked in ABN AMRO, BNP Paribas, Macquarie Group, SIX Digital Exchange, Boerse Stuttgart, London, Hong Kong, Paris, Germany.
