This is official, Snoop Dogg has joined the apes. The rap superstar and almighty businessman has invested heavily in NFT and now shows a boring ape as his avatar on Twitter. Not only that, Snoop Dogg also bought a full set; a Boring Ape, an M1 and an M2 mutant, and their correspondent Boring Ape Kennel Club. They all match each other and tend to have pink fur.

In the announcement tweet, Snoop Dogg claimed: “I have been in APE when I was in APE!!!”, he did not lie. This purchase made him one of the top celebrity NFT collectors. At least those who bought it publicly.

How did Snoop Dogg get into the Boring Ape Yacht Club?

However, NFT strategist Just1n.eth brought another rapper into the conversation. “He needs to contact Waka Flocka to talk about the NFT series he should study!” and Waka Flocka went Go directly to BAYC. “Uncle Snoopy, you need an ape mane!!! But wait… Isn’t Cozomo De’ Medici an alias for Snoop Dogg?

The notorious NFT collector Cozomo De’ Medici once made a publicity stunt that seemed to imply that he was Snoop Dogg. However, since then, the prevailing view is that he is not. Artnet’s .pdf mag about NFT culture, Artnet NFT 30, Break down the story:
