Newegg, a major technology-focused e-commerce platform, announced that SHIB is about to land on its platform. Newegg currently accepts cryptocurrencies through Bitpay. According to Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theatres, this encrypted payment service provider is expected to add SHIB support soon, and he said his company will begin accepting SHIB payments in the first quarter.

The e-commerce platform Newegg announced on Twitter on Friday that SHIB is about to land on Newegg.
Newegg Inc. is one of North America’s leading online retailers focused on technology, with global presence in Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East. Its platform focuses on computer parts, PC components, laptops, gaming systems, auto parts and office supplies.
Newegg did not elaborate further on its SHIB announcement. However, the platform currently accepts multiple cryptocurrencies through Bitpay. This encrypted payment service provider is expected to add shiba inu to its list of supported cryptocurrencies, including rival meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE).
The news that Bitpay may support SHIB comes from Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theatres. He tweeted on November 15 that Bitpay Decided to support shiba inu encryption “Especially because I asked, so AMC can use shiba inu to pay for movie tickets and discounts online.”
He added that AMC will be the first Bitpay customer to accept shiba inu encryption, and his company is expected to start accepting SHIB within 60 to 120 days from the announcement date.
The adoption rate of meme crypto shiba inu has been increasing. In November, the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini Added support for SHIB. At the same time, supporters of Shiba Inu are still requesting the Robinhood trading platform to accept SHIB on Change.org. So far, 540,000 signatures have been collected.However, Robinhood recently stated that it is Not in a hurry List SHIB or any other cryptocurrency.
