Encinitas, California-San Diego County companies are trying to figure out how to deal with the latest local recommendations for indoor masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated people.

Starting Wednesday, the headline news salon requires everyone who enters the door to wear a mask.

“We didn’t encounter any resistance,” said Gayle Fulbright, owner of Encinitas Salon.

On Tuesday, the county announced plans to follow the latest guidelines from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which recommends that everyone wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status, and transmit in COVID-19 “high” or “severe” areas.
