Camilla sends messages to families facing “huge, heartbreaking challenges”
The Duchess of Cornwall sent a message of support to families caring for terminally ill babies, children and young people.
In commemoration of Children’s Hospice Week, Camilla said that those facing “huge, heartbreaking challenges” are in her thoughts and prayers.
The Duchess is the patron of the Southwest Children’s Shelter, Helen and Douglas House, and Roald Dahl’s Wonderful Children’s Charity for seriously ill children, and the Prince of Wales is the patron of Tai Hafan.
Camilla’s message read: “It’s another hospice week for children, so I want to send a message to all families taking care of terminally ill infants, children and young people across the country.
“You are facing a huge and heartbreaking challenge, and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I also want to thank the outstanding employees and volunteers who have created miracles, helped the short lives to be enriched, and created precious memories. , And provided comfort and support to everyone who came to your door.”
