York District Police said a man and a woman were found dead at their home in Richmond Hill, Ontario on Sunday night.
The police told CBC Toronto that emergency workers were called to the Bayview and 16th avenues area-just north of Toronto-around 6 pm Eastern time.
The police stated that the incident was initially reported as a gun incident and the homicide detective had been notified.
Constant Laura Nicolle (Laura Nicolle) said that both men and women were pronounced dead at the scene.
“The coroner has been notified that we are investigating,” Nicole said.
York medical staff spokesperson Ben Sangster said they sent an ambulance and a special response team to the scene, but “didn’t transport any patients.”
Nicole said that he is currently not worried about public safety, and the police are not looking for any suspects.
