ENCINITAS (CNS)-The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday identified the representative of the man who was shot and killed near the Batikitos Lagoon.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, around 8 a.m. on Friday, patrol officers were investigating a report of a suspicious individual in the residential area of ??1500 Block Eolus Avenue in Encinitas, just west of Interstate 5. 40-year-old Eric Scott Anderson (Eric Scott Anderson).

The agency said that when representatives tried to question Anderson, he allegedly pulled out a gun, prompting them to fire at him.

Medical staff took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Sheriff officers closed the traffic lanes in the area while investigating the deadly conflict.
