this Friday, This Coffee shop in The Philadelphia Museum of Art will be open to the public for the first time since March last year.

In the cafe, Constellation Cooking Group is launching a chef-in-residence program, local chefs, including Tova du Plessis of Essen Bakery and Nok Suntaranon of Kalaya, Will take over local and global stations.

The guest chefs will start their residency on the first weekend of each month, which coincides with the free admission fee provided on the first Sunday of each month and every Friday from 5pm to 8:45pm

“This new series creates a cohesive experience that extends the definition of art to include the world of culinary arts,” Said Scott Steenrod, managing director of Constellation.

The museum also works with Emerging Artist, A non-profit organization that collaborates with local students to create works of art, these works are copied and installed in public buildings across the country. Replicas of the works will be regularly displayed and rotated in the cafe space.

The cafe staff also wear artwork.The redesigned uniform includes a made T-shirt Exclusively for the museum to exhibit the work of Philadelphia artist Alisa Wismer (Alisa Wismer).

As for the Espresso Bar located in the North Vaulted Walkway on the ground floor, starting from Friday, it will provide more than just take-away items. To complement coffee drinks, the bar will sell pies, biscuits and Okie Dokie’s gluten-free doughnuts.

The newly renovated Balcony Café, where guests can enjoy beer, wine and snacks, is tentatively scheduled to reopen in mid-July.
