The mission of FCA is to create a clear pediatric emergency department, including internal reconstruction and addition, to create an observation room, a special pediatric emergency treatment space and a special behavioral health space. The project also includes internal connections to the existing emergency room, as well as level changes within the padding used for patient and staff transfer, including new elevators/elevators and stairs. The observation room (approximately 11,660 square feet) is designed for 26 observation rooms and the required support space. New features include a dedicated entrance that provides walk-in entrances for pediatric and adult patients, as well as reception areas, waiting areas, security and sorting. The design of the new entrance involves the reconfiguration of the vehicle access, including the drop-off area, entrance, canopy, and minor changes to the traffic flow of vehicles and ambulances at the existing ED drop-off point.
