Spouses hide cryptocurrency during divorce

More and more separated spouses are beginning to hide their digital assets during divorce proceedings.

So how do lawyers mine their cryptocurrency?

“The hardest part for a lawyer is to first determine if there is an investment,” said divorce lawyer Sandra Radna NBC Finance Channel“Then, once you have this suspicion, go after it.”

After determining whether your estranged partner owns any digital assets, your lawyer can submit a court order to access their electronic devices.

Computer experts can search for electronically stored information that indicates online cryptocurrency activity or login credentials, proof of transfer and investment, and even information from past tax returns.

However, not all cryptocurrencies are so easy to track.
