The Peel District Police said that after the shooting in Mississauga, Ontario, many people were taken to the hospital in “various circumstances” on Saturday.
The officers stated that they responded to reports of shootings in the Glen Erin Drive and The Collegeway areas before 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
The police said all the victims had been taken to the hospital. They did not confirm the number of victims.
A Peel police spokesman said the shooting took place in a square at an intersection. They cannot confirm whether the incident occurred indoors or outdoors.
No suspicious descriptions have been posted yet.
