San Diego-A SWAT team besieged a house in Logan Heights. When the police tried to arrest a man suspected of assaulting the police and leading the recent pursuit on Friday, the authorities closed the street for several hours.

After the two men surrendered peacefully and were detained, the confrontation ended in a house on Ocean View Boulevard near South Evans Street at about 12:30 pm.

One of the suspects was identified as 31-year-old Jonathan Gutierrez (Jonathan Gutierrez).Gutierrez was wanted for allegedly attacking a police officer with a deadly weapon on May 19, and then led High speed, wrong pursuit The San Diego Police Department said it was on the local highway on Thursday.

The other man was identified as 28-year-old John Mena (John Mena). The police said he was found hiding in the car at the scene, and he also had a felony arrest warrant, but did not provide detailed charges.

The officer said that they first tried to deliver a warrant in the house before 9 a.m. When Gutierrez broke into the house, he refused to go out and called the special police. According to the SDPD, he is considered “armed and dangerous.”

During the standoff, the police closed the ocean view room from South Evans to South 28th Street. They also closed Sampson Street on Harrison Avenue.

A dozen police SUVs can be seen on residential streets, two ambulances and two large SWAT cars are also parked outside the house, and snipers are placed on the nearby roof.
