Animoca Brands, a company specializing in digital entertainment, blockchain, gamification and artificial intelligence, announced today that it has acquired Helix Accelerator (spiral), it has reached an agreement with Hedera Hashgraph to develop two distributed ledger-based gambling project.

Football game

Heedera Hashgraph, Animoca Brands and Helix will develop a non-fungible token (NFT)-based football game that will utilize the intellectual property rights of famous football clubs authorized by Animoca Brands.

The game will have a tradable NFT and will be supported by the native token HBAR of the Hedera network. The NFT supported by HBAR can be exchanged for HBAR after the cooling-off period, which means that the NFT can redeem a fixed and guaranteed amount of basic encrypted assets for the first time.

Spiral warp

Animoca Brands, Helix and Hedera Hashgraph will also collaborate on the development and release of Helix Warp, a distributed online game platform. The mission is to create a fair and decentralized ecosystem of game-related products and services to solve the problem of cheating in online multiplayer games.

Helix Warp will counteract cheating by creating a server-side simulation environment and using the Hedera Consensus Service to record the results. Game developers will be able to plug in Helix Warp and deploy anti-hacking leaderboards in their games. First, Helix Warp will target HTML5 games and use Helix Warp tokens to support the ecosystem.

This Hedera Consensus Service The Hedera token service will be used as the basic technology layer for the above two projects.

The Hedera Consensus Service acts as a trust layer for any application or allowed network and allows the creation of immutable and verifiable message logs. Although Hedera Token Service can configure, manage and transmit high-throughput locally replaceable and non-fungible tokens without having to deploy expensive and potentially faulty smart contracts.
