Forecast from May 25 to June 3

The Bureau of Meteorology said the unstable weather will continue until early next week, with large-scale showers mainly in the central and eastern parts of England.

As next week progresses, it is possible to gradually establish more settlement conditions from the west.

Rain and showers may be limited to the east, other places are drier and less windy.

Although it feels pleasant in any sunlight, the temperature seems likely to be slightly below average.

There may still be some particularly cold nights, and some late frosts may appear in prone locations.
