Fort Worth, Texas – Fort Worth based personal injury law firm Eberstein Witherite is set to again provide sponsorship for DeDe in the Morning’s Annual Putt Putt Golf Tournament. The tournament, which is in its second year, is arranged to benefit the local charity Women Called Moses. Two attorneys from the firm will play in the event in addition to making a donation to the cause of reducing domestic violence through the charity’s efforts.

Helping Reduce Incidents of Domestic Violence

According to statistics from the Department of Justice, one in four women will experience some form of domestic violence. The problem is a non-discriminatory one, which impacts women of all races and age groups. Women Called Moses is a charitable organization that helps women and families who have been affected by domestic violence through education and advocacy services provided throughout the United States.

The Putt Putt Golf Tournament event gives individuals throughout DFW an opportunity to donate to help the Women Called Moses charity carry out its mission of ending domestic violence cycles for families across the country. The tournament allows radio listeners who are interested in making a donation to also play on teams along with popular K104 station radio personalities including DeDe in the Morning show hosts, DeDe McGuire, Michael Shawn, and Lady Jade.

Fort Worth personal injury attorneys Amy Witherite and Brian Eberstein will play on the team led by radio host DeDe McGuire, and are also providing a donation from their firm. The attorneys played in the tournament to help support the cause last year calling it a rewarding experience that allowed them to not only take a stand against domestic violence, but also have fun interacting with people from the communities they serve.

The 2nd Annual Putt Putt Golf Tournament is set to take place on Thursday, May 14th at Alley Cats in Arlington from 7 to 9 pm. The address of the location of the event is 208 W. Pleasant Ridge, Arlington, TX 76015.
