U.S. – Many marketers have expressed limited confidence in their consumer data and say they want more information from customers. As reported by WebProNews, a recent report by Infogroup shows that 47% of respondents say they see a return on their big data investments while 53% of markers “crave more information on their customers.”
Infogroup president Gretchen Littlefield is quoted as stating of its findings, “Although data-driven marketing is now the norm, marketers still thirst for more data… Even as they invest in DaaS and Saas and execute more sophisticated multi-channel campaigns, brands are seeking to continually deepen their understanding of customers by acquiring more meaningful data from multiple sources.”
Other findings by Infogroup include statistics that show 21% of marketers feel confident that their customer profiles are accurate and complete and 16% percent expect data application to be their biggest challenge this year.
