Los Angeles – Model and actress Kate Upton has been named People magazine’s sexiest woman. As reported by the LA Times, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model was given the award at the recent People Magazine Awards at the Beverly Hilton.
Upton is quoted as stating during her acceptance of the award, “This is such an honor for me because sexy to me means someone who is confident and happy and that’s the person that I always strive to be.”
Upton was presented the award by “Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane.
The model saw other career highs in 2014 including winning a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover for the third time, and appearing in her first feature film “The Other Woman” alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.
