Los Angeles – Nick Cannon recently commented about the state of his marriage to singer Mariah Carey amid rumors of an imminent divorce between them. As reported by the New York Daily News, the 33-year-old host of “America’s Got Talent” stated that he and the superstar were living apart.
Cannon is quoted as stating to The Insider, “We have been living in separate houses for a few months… (Right now) my main focus is my kids.”
According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, sources say tensions between the couple have been brewing for some time, and escalated after Cannon publicly named reality star Kim Kardashian as someone he had slept with.
Carey, 44, and Cannon were married in 2008 in the Bahamas. The two are parents to 3-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
