New York – Elizabeth Vargas and Marc Cohn are reportedly ending their 12-year marriage. As reported by Us Weekly, the divorce announcement comes shortly after Vargas stated that she had checked herself into rehab a second time for the treatment of alcohol addiction.
Vargas is quoted as previously stating when announcing her decision to return to rehab, “I feel I have let myself, my co-workers and most importantly my family down, and for that I am ashamed and sorry…I am committed to battling and addressing this debilitating disease and want to thank everyone who has offered their unwavering support during this trying time.”
Vargas and Cohn who married in 2002, have two sons together.
