Long Beach – The mother of a man accused of participating in a robbery that resulted in the death of another suspect, has also been charged. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), 49-year-old Ruby Adams has been charged with first-degree residential burglary and first-degree residential robbery after prosecutors say she acted as a lookout in the crime.
Adams son, 26-year-old Gus Adams, was previously charged with murder, burglary, robbery and weapons charges. According to prosecutors Gus Adams can be charged with murder due to his participation in a crime that resulted in the death of another person, regardless of whether he was the shooter.
The other suspect, Andrea Miller, 28, was shot and killed by the 80-year-old owner of the home being burglarized as she was fleeing the scene.
The shooting is still under investigation.
