Dallas, Texas – Dallas injury lawyer Brian Eberstein came full circle at a recent ceremony held in honor of the 2014 graduating seniors at the landmark James Madison High School. The attorney was there to present scholarship awards to the school’s valedictorian and salutatorian, and revealed that decades prior he was in the same auditorium to watch his brother receive an award as valedictorian of the school.
Taking A Trip Down Madison High School Memory Lane
During his award presentation speech, Eberstein stated of his connection to the school, “It’s nice to be here in the same auditorium because I was here sixty years ago…I was a kid running around upstairs and my brother was the recipient of an award I’m going to give now.”
Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 were given to brothers James Madison and Matthew Madison, who had earned the distinctions of valedictorian and salutatorian respectively.
Eberstein told the audience of the students’ achievement, “we’re very excited about these two winners, the valedictorian and the salutatorian come from the same family how about that? Pretty special.”
The Eberstein & Witherite law firm also provided scholarships to students at other schools in the Dallas-Forth Worth area in an effort to help more students in underserved communities attain access to a college education upon completion of high school.
