Kentucky – A battered Kentucky woman turned to social media for help after an alleged attack by her husband. As reported by WKYT, Susann Stacy said her husband beat her with a handgun after hearing her on the phone with another man, and she was left without a way to call 911 after he ripped out the phone line.

Leslie County Sheriff’s Deputy Sam Mullins is quoted in the report as stating of her injuries, “Several lacerations to the head. They appeared to be bad but we really couldn’t tell at the time, due to her hair was matted to her, and the blood.”

Stacy used her WiFi to post a picture of her bruises on Facebook and make a plea for help, after also not being able to get reception on her cell phone.

Deputies soon arrested her husband and later found the handgun that was used in the attack.
