Las Vegas – Pop star Britney Spears has begun her two-year entertainment gig in Las Vegas. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Spears kicked off the gig at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Friday, putting on a 90-minute show. During her performance, Spears sang fan favorites like “Toxic.”
Spears is set to perform 50 shows each in 2014 and 2015, as noted by the AP. Her performance venue will be a 7,000-seat theater, which has been modified to 4,500 seats with the closure of the balcony. Tickets for the show range from $59-$179.
Spears is stated to be one of the youngest stars to headline a long-term gig like this one in Las Vegas. The performer has released seven-top selling albums since making her music debut in 1999.
