Connecticut – The four victims of a plane crash in Connecticut that occurred on Friday have been identified by authorities. As reported by Fox News, the victims were confirmed by East Haven Police to be the plane pilot 54-year-old former Microsoft executive Bill Henningsgaard and his 17-year-old son as well as two children who lived in one of the two homes that was hit by the plane.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident, which was stated to not have been the pilot’s first plane crash.
A vigil was held on Saturday at Margaret Tucker Park in honor of the victims in which dozens of people to were stated to have been in attendance including the mother of the 13-year-old and 1-year-old killed in the accident.
Gov. Dannel Malloy, is quoted by Fox News as saying of the vigil in a statement, “When a family suffers an unimaginable tragedy, we come together and pray that they have the strength they need to carry on… Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families tonight who are suffering from grief and loss.”
