New York – Big Brother contestant GinaMarie Zimmerman was fired over racist comments she made on the show. As reported by TV Guide, Zimmerman was fired from her job as a pageant coordinator with East Coast USA Pageant, Inc. after coming under fire over comments such as referencing welfare as “n–ger insurance.”
The company is quoted in the report as stating to TMZ.com regarding the issue, “We have never known this side of GinaMarie or have ever witnessed such acts of racism in the past… We are actually thankful that this show let us see GinaMarie for who she truly is. We would never want her to be a role model to our future contestants.”
